NIOS Admission Class 10th

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) began the NIOS Admissions 2025-2026 for classes 10, 12. They opened the NIOS 10th, 12th admission 2025-2026 window for April/May 2025 exams. NIOS 10th, 12th admission 2025-2026 window for October exams will be opened from September 16, 2025. Students can register for NIOS admission 2025-2026 in online mode on the official website - nios.ac.in by filling the NIOS admission form. The last date for NIOS online admission was July 31, 2025 without any late fine. The NIOS admission for 12th class last date is September 15, 2025-2026 with late fee. Candidates have to pay the requisite NIOS admission 2025-2026 fee and upload the required documents,through NIOS login, to complete the NIOS admission 2025-2026.

Eligibility for NIOS 2025-2026 Admission
Those who meet the NIOS eligibility criteria can apply for NIOS 2025-2026 admission. Given below are the requirements that must be fulfilled by students in order to go ahead with online NIOS admission 2025-2026.

Age Criteria for NIOS Admission 2025-2026
The minimum age required for NIOS registration 2025-2026 for Class 10 is 14 years as on July 31 whereas a student should be at least 15 years old to apply for NIOS 12th admission 2025-2026.

Educational Qualification
NIOS 10th admission: Students must have cleared class 8 from a recognized board of education or must possess enough knowledge to sit for the class 10 exam I.e a candidate has to give a self-certificate stating that they have studied enough to be eligible for NIOS 10th registration 2025-2026.

Eligibility for Nios Admission 2025 10th Class (Secondary)

Applicant age ought to be finished 14 years for taking admission in 10th class.
VIII or IX class pass transfer certificate must be signed by the principal and gazetted officer by the competent training authority

Eligibility for Nios Admission 2025 12th Class (Senior Secondary)

* Up-and-comer age ought to be finished 16 years for taking confirmation in twelfth Senior Secondary Course
* Candidate age should be 15 years as on 31st July 2025.
* Candidate Must Have Passed Secondary Board Exam From Any Recognized Board.
* Candidates who have passed Senior Secondary Examination but want to improve their score can also take admission in NIOS Class 12.
