NIOS Admission 2025-2026 Admission Process

NIOS (National Institute Open School) was established in 1989. The purpose of making this board is only for those Students who can not take education from CBSE board or any other board by spending more money. NIOS is a board for the students who want to do their education in private mode. Essentially it can be understood as the completion of class 10th and class 12th education through correspondence.

NIOS Admission 2025 allows one to take a direct examination in class X provided They have basic primary education or class XII provided they have passed the class X examination or its equivalent. Eligibility for Nios Admission 2025 10th Class (Secondary)

Applicant age ought to be finished 14 years for taking admission in 10th class.
VIII or IX class pass transfer certificate must be signed by the principal and gazetted officer by the competent training authority

Eligibility for Nios Admission 2025 12th Class (Senior Secondary)

* Up-and-comer age ought to be finished 16 years for taking confirmation in twelfth Senior Secondary Course
* Candidate age should be 15 years as on 31st July 2025.
* Candidate Must Have Passed Secondary Board Exam From Any Recognized Board.
* Candidates who have passed Senior Secondary Examination but want to improve their score can also take admission in NIOS Class 12.
